My name is Joanna Jensen, I am a Danish illustrator and art historian whose work centres on delicate, highly detailed watercolour.

Drawing on a deep appreciation for traditional craftsmanship, I often incorporate mixed media and marbling techniques, creating intricate surfaces that reward close attention. I like to say that besides paint, the most important ingredient in my work is patience - bundles of patience and precision shape each piece.
